150 years ago we had innovative people discovering how to take an aerial photograph and now we have satellites to capture such imagery!

Check out this great article and comparison of images from 1860 and today. James Wallace Black took the first aerial photo of Boston in 1860, left, which is shown next to a Google Earth image of Boston on Oct. 12, 2010.
