On a recent trip to Miami to shoot for my B is for Box series, a dear friend of mine took me to Miami’s Design District as well as the Wynwood Arts District. The neighborhoods are full of some of the most gorgeous street art I have ever seen. One graffiti artist incorporated a large grate on the side of a building into his robot; another used the side of an entire building, blending the characters and trees in with the windows. I even got to see Captain America smoking crack! While I’m sure it happens, each artist is respectful of the next paying close attention as not to cover up or destroy the previous artists work. There were many new pieces popping up for Art Basel and I can’t wait to check them out during all of Basel’s festivities next week! Enjoy!
